Documentation requirements

The requirement for documentation depends on your management system and can within welding related tasks e.g. include management of welding certificates, WPS and WPQR and welding coordinator log.

Software

Advisio has developed a welding module that includes management of the most common documentation requirements for welding-related activities

The system can be accessed via tablet or smartphone.

Welding certificates

AdVisio Software gives you a perfect overview of all welding certificates in your company. By searching for e.g. welding method, weld type or filler metal, you can quickly see if your company’s welders have the required certificates for an upcoming project.

The module also allows you to sign certificates electronically. At the touch of a button, the certificate is added to your uploaded signature. You can see at any time when each certificate is due to be signed next, and if desired, you will automatically receive a notification email 14 days before the last possible date. With AdVisio Software, you never have to worry about whether your certificates are up to date .

WPS

In this section you have a collection of all your company’s WPSs. When you have a new welding project, the table will quickly show you which WPSs can be used so that any gaps can be filled in good time. As in Welding Certificates, you can search by the normal welding parameters to narrow down your search as much as you need, so you can find what you need in an instant.

WPQR

If you need a new WPS, here you can get an overview of exactly which frames you already have within your existing WPQRs. A quick search shows which WPQRs can cover your new WPS. The table can be customized so that only the most relevant parameters are visible.

The module will be connected to the AdVisio WPQR bank, where missing WPSs can be purchased if your own company does not have sufficient WPQR coverage.

Routine checks

In this module you can continuously see the status of NDT on your control batches. The module is built according to the requirements of EN 1090-2:2018 and will be continuously updated to the current standard.

Based on produced and inspected length, Esigna Software automatically calculates the NDT requirement for each inspection lot and the percentage inspected. This provides a constant overview of the NDT status so that inspection times can be adjusted most efficiently and costs are minimized.

An added benefit is the ability to track and document the NTD scope of each order so it can always be documented to the customer.
