Requirements for construction

The Construction Regulation is part of the legislation that regulates construction in Denmark, among other countries. This regulation sets out the basic requirements and rules that buildings must meet to ensure safety, health, accessibility and energy efficiency.

In Denmark, the primary legislation in this area is the Building Regulations BR18, which is part of the Danish Building Act.

The requirements for quality assurance of construction are increasing and if you are a supplier to Danish construction companies, you must also document the control of the construction in accordance with DS 1140.
